You can book a Clay Day or Pottery Painting Party for your child's birthday at The Gallery or an alternative venue of your choosing - I can bring the party to you!
Clay Day Party
Whether it's making Spaceships and Aliens, or Fairy Princesses and Fancy Shoes, clay parties are LOTS of FUN, and everyone learns a new skill too!

The children will spend a little time designing their sculptures in the workshop area, before being shown demonstrations and getting stuck in with the clay!
When the models are finished, I take them all home where they are dried out, then fired twice and clear glazed, then boxed up with labels and returned to you to give out to the artists. This process normally takes around two to three weeks. Each child can paint their model at home and will have an ever-lasting memento of the party!

Pottery Painting Party
Another option for a creative party - your child and their friends can put their designs on ready-made Bisque (pre-made pottery) Plates, Mugs or Bowls that will be taken away to be fired in a kiln, and returned to the artists so that they can be used at home!

Lovely Mug by Jennie, Age 9
Children will spend a little time drawing their designs on paper first, then copying their finished designs on to the Plate/Mug or Bowl using felt tip pens that magically disappear in the kiln. They can then choose from a selection of over 70 coloured glazes to colour their designs in.
